Duke Young, MHA, CMPE Duke Young, MHA, CMPE 

serves as the administrator of Kimble Hospital.  Originally from Louisiana, Young has been involved in hospital and clinic operations in Southern and Eastern Texas for the last 25 years.

Prior to joining Kimble Hospital, Young worked within the Christus Health System, most recently, as the Vice President, Physician Practices, South Texas for the Christus Physician Group, with 53 physicians supporting 11 hospitals.  He also served as Associate Vice President for Strategy and Development with the Christus Trinity Mother Francis Health System and Director of Development for the Christus Physician Group in the Southwest Region.

In addition, Young was the owner of Orthopedic Affiliates, LLC, an orthopedic company encompassing several physician clinics, diagnostic imaging centers and physical therapy clinics, for 13 years.  He worked for another 6 years as an area administrator for HealthSouth operations in South Texas.

Young earned his Masters of Science, Healthcare Administration, from Texas State University, and his Bachelors of Science, from Florida State University.   He is member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Medical Group Managers Association and American College of Sports Medicine, and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Sue Gentry, BSN, RN Sue Gentry, BSN, RN 

is responsible for working with the providers and hospital staff to maintain quality of care, enhance patient satisfaction, maintain appropriate staffing levels and provide for ongoing staff education. Gentry brings a whole alphabet soup of her own credentials to Kimble Hospital, including Trauma Nurse Certification, Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) training and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training. Born and raised in Junction, Gentry moved to San Angelo in the 1970s where she obtained her high school and college degrees. She became a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) in 1980 and graduated as a registered nurse (RN) in 1987. She is currently working towards an advanced degree in nursing while working full time at Kimble Hospital.
